For your safety and ours, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only scheduling appointments for patients that are fully vaccinated. Also, for everyone's protection, we continue to limit the number of patients seen. Additional protocols, and adjustments to the examinations have been instituted. We are also working to reduce your need to touch any surfaces in the office. Of course, we will ensure that any changes made will not affect the quality of your eye care.
If any patient has -- in the 10 days prior to the appointment -- visited with anyone other than the people that they live with, that patient will be re-scheduled. The same holds true if a patient is feeling unwell on the day of the appointment.
If there is a medical emergency, please call Eye & Ear Hospital (412-647-2200) where they are performing triage of vision-related issues, or call your doctor's office. As always, if you need to speak with Dr. Roberta Horwitz, please call 412-361-3937 or use the contact form below.
To keep everyone safe, we are booking fewer eye examinations. (This both allows for social distancing and allows additional time to sanitize surfaces and our equipment. If you would like to book an appointment or to contact us, using the form below.
We will do our best to help you through this crisis. If your contact lens prescription is from us and is less than 1 year old, please contact us. At this time, the charge for shipping 2, or more, boxes of contact lenses to your home will be waived.
